Boy, do I wish we had a Trader Joe's in our area! Even more so now that I have tried Trader Joe's Gluten and Dairy Free English Muffins!
I had heard buzz about these on other gluten-free blogs, so I picked up a package on the second day of our Cape vacation. I took them back to the hotel, sliced it in half and toasted it up in a "Toast It" bag in the toaster oven. Oh my gosh! These babies are delicious. They have a crunchy corn meal coating and are light and fluffy on the inside. I had the first one with just butter on it to see what it tasted like. Since then, I have used them for peanut butter and jelly and ham and cheese sandwiches. Next, I want to try making an egg, ham and cheese breakfast sandwich...I think it would be excellent!
I loved these muffins so much that persuaded my hubby to swing by Joe's on the way home to pick up another package to bring home. I bought TWO. There are only four muffins in each package, so I'm already wondering what I will do once they run out, which won't be long! I only have two left!!!
BTW..do you like my Tweety glass? I've had it for AGES. Tweety used to be yellow, but has turned white after many dishwasher washings. I affectionately call it my "Albino Tweety" glass.

I SO wish they had these at my Trader Joe's, but they don't! WAH!!!! I was all prepared to do a trade...send you a box of Chocolate Lucky Charms for a pkg of these until I read that there isn't a TJ's near you! *sniff sniff*.
One day I will get a good GF English Muffin!
Oh, Man! I can't believe they don't have these at your TJ's! I only get there when we go to the Cape. There are petitions and Facebook groups dedicated to getting one in our area, but so far, no luck.
Can you talk to your store's manager and request items??? I definitely would give it a try!
I know I have seen CLC and I think I even bought them once for Amanda, but I never even thought to read the ingredients. I'm hoping I will remember where I found them...
